About us

Periop Partners' platform and software modules can help healthcare businesses improve the distribution of their healthcare services, through sharing economy principles .

Our why

Our Massively Transformative Purpose is to enable healthcare to be available anytime, everywhere. We see this as problems of access and utilisation.

At Periop Partners, we seek to enable businesses to optimise access and utilisation of resources - their own and other people's access to their people, their time and their spaces. We do this through the use of platforms, sharing economy principles and scheduling really well.
At Periop Partners our team has a unique blend of engineering, technology and clinical skills that has meant we build the tools for the future of healthcare: anytime, everywhere.
Our story in brief: in 2013, one of our founders, Dr Grace Lai, moved from working in the public health system into private practice. She noticed an interesting inefficiency: doctors and practice managers were spending hours on the phone finding practitioners to help with the operation. This would amount to thousands of dollars in lost productivity for one practice alone… and it was happening around the country!
Periop Partners started as a surgical assisting service, gathering the best in talent in surgical assistants with a focus on efficiency. In 2015, our founding team built a job request software to manage and streamline the request & bookings process for assistants.
We then sold a customized version of this software to our first client, BodyScan (read our Case Study). Then, a client in Hong Kong wanted a solution that captured the marketplace features and... we now offer three standard products, Mobiliyo, MedicRooms and Jobs, which can all be used together to form a collaborative tool platform.

OUR HOW

At the heart of Periop Partners is efficient scheduling. When you combined this with Periop Partners’ suite of interactive collaboration tools, you form a process of efficiently managing and optimising the resources in a healthcare business - be they locations, practitioners or time. Our configurable platform enables healthcare businesses to scale their services and manage across these various forms of care:

  • Distributed eg specialised units, occupational health clinics, musculoskeletal clinics, small nursing or medical assistant-run services
  • Mobilised eg lithotripsy vans, Fly-in/ Fly-out clinics, workplace assessment teams
  • Virtualised eg online appointments, remote care

We believe that healthcare can be available anytime, everywhere. To enable this, we have developed collaboration tools to serve healthcare businesses looking to scale their services.
Our goal is to help our clients run efficient, online and offline healthcare businesses that provides their products and services to patients and their communities in a seamless experience: search, book, pay, educate and follow-up.

Periop Partners' platform and software modules can help healthcare businesses improve the distribution of their healthcare services, through sharing economy principles.

We sold a customized version of this software to our first client, BodyScan (read our Case Study). One of the neurosurgeons using our surgical assisting service approached us to build a multimedia Patient Education platform. Then, a client in Hong Kong wanted a solution that captured both the marketplace features and the education portal features and… here we are.
